Easter has arrived and we are still in "stay at home mode". I hope and pray that all are well. I am OK. With the virus still raging, it makes us pause and realize that our prayers are needed more than ever. It would be so good to gather as a parish at church and welcome Easter together. Instead we probably will watch Easter services on TV or the computer. It is not the same, especially when it comes to music and the St. Augustine Kiss of Peace. That's not to mention receiving Holy Communion, the Body and Blood of Christ, together as a parish family.
May the Risen Christ bless us all this Easter as we say to those around us: Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia! Christ has risen and says we can do the same. Happy Easter! Hang in there!
